Kyrou has 'a lot to prove' after trade to Capitals from Blues
TheWire1h ago
Jordan Kyrou was traded from the St. Louis Blues to the Washington Capitals in exchange for Connor McMichael, prospect Milton Gastrin, and the 16th pick in the 2026 NHL Draft after waiving his no-trade clause. The 28-year-old forward, a three-time 30-goal scorer with St. Louis, recorded 46 points in 72 games last season with decreased ice time. Kyrou signed an eight-year, $65 million contract with the Blues in 2022 and has five seasons remaining.
