Byram traded to Blackhawks by Sabres for No. 4 pick in 2026 Draft
The Buffalo Sabres traded defenseman Bowen Byram to the Chicago Blackhawks for the No. 4 pick in the 2026 NHL Draft, with Buffalo also receiving defenseman Louis Crevier, a second-round pick in 2026, and Chicago adding forward Jordan Greenway. Byram recorded a career-high 42 points in 82 regular-season games this season and has one year remaining on his contract with an average annual value of $6.25 million. The 25-year-old has 152 points in 328 regular-season games between the Avalanche and Sabres since being drafted fourth overall in 2019.
