Caps Get Kyrou from St. Louis

The Washington Capitals acquired 28-year-old winger Jordan Kyrou from the St. Louis Blues in exchange for forward Connor McMichael, prospect Milton Gastrin, and the Caps' first-round pick (No. 16 overall) in the 2026 NHL Draft. Kyrou, who scored 18 goals last season, carries a five-year contract with an $8.125 million salary cap hit per year. McMichael was originally selected 25th overall by Washington in the 2019 NHL Draft.
