Capitals Acquire Jordan Kyrou from the St. Louis Blues

The Washington Capitals acquired forward Jordan Kyrou from the St. Louis Blues in exchange for forwards Connor McMichael and Milton Gastrin plus Washington's first-round pick (16th overall) in the 2026 NHL Draft. Kyrou, 28 years old, is a three-time 30-goal scorer who is under contract for five more seasons and posted a career-high 37 goals in 2022-23. The Capitals' general manager stated Kyrou is an elite offensive player entering the prime years of his career.
