The New Jersey Devils traded defenseman Simon Nemec and forward Maxim Tsyplakov to the Calgary Flames in exchange for two conditional first-round picks (2027, 2028), a second-round pick in 2026, and defenseman prospect Etienne Morin. Nemec, 22, completes his entry-level contract and becomes eligible for restricted free agency on July 1, while Tsyplakov appeared in 49 games this season for New Jersey.
