Wild’s pursuit of Dylan Larkin could direct their entire offseason — and future - The Athletic
Minnesota Wild general manager Bill Guerin faces an extensive offseason agenda that includes only five draft picks with none in the first two rounds, decisions on re-signing Mats Zuccarello, and contract extensions for Quinn Hughes and John Hynes. The organization's focus on acquiring a top-line center has now shifted solely to Detroit Red Wings captain Dylan Larkin, who has requested a trade from Detroit, after Brady Tkachuk was traded to Florida instead. Minnesota had made an offer for Tkachuk equivalent to four first-round picks, but the Senators accepted Florida's offer because Tkachuk exercised his no-move clause to join his brother Matthew.
