Wilbraham native selected in PWHL draft

Forward Mary Kate O'Brien, a Wilbraham native, was selected by PWHL Detroit during the draft last week. During the 2025-26 season, O'Brien served as team captain of the Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs and recorded 17 points in 38 games, including 14 assists and one game-winning goal. She played 162 games for UMD, the ninth most in program history.
