Kraken Acquire Panthers Wing Mackie Samoskevich

The Seattle Kraken acquired right wing Mackie Samoskevich from the Florida Panthers on Sunday, sending the No. 25 overall pick in next week's NHL Draft and a conditional 2027 second-round pick to Florida. Samoskevich, 23, was a former University of Michigan teammate of Kraken centerman Matty Beniers and won the Stanley Cup as a rookie with the Panthers in 2025. The Kraken retain the No. 7 overall pick for the upcoming draft.
