PWHL Detroit Adds Six players in Draft

PWHL Detroit selected six players in Wednesday's draft at the Fox Theater in Detroit, with Swiss goaltender Andrea Brandl as the team's first pick and the draft's first goalie selected. Brandl, 29, previously played for Ohio State, Boston College, and Frolunda HC in Sweden's women's league, and has represented Switzerland at the 2026 Winter Olympics. The team, which does not yet have a name, was managed by general manager Manon Rheaume in the selection process.
