PWHL announces Ilitch Companies will be among first outside investors

The Ilitch Companies and Kilmer Sports Ventures have been announced as the first two outside investors in the Professional Women's Hockey League since its establishment in 2023. The Ilitch family's Detroit PWHL team will play at Little Caesars Arena. Mark and Kimbra Walter will continue to oversee league operations and strategic direction alongside the PWHL Advisory Board.
