PWHL Detroit selected Swiss goaltender Andrea Brändli in their first-ever draft pick, who earned Olympic All-Star Team honors and Olympic Best Goaltender during the 2025-26 season, and Michigan native Casey Borgiel was drafted in the second round (22nd overall) by former youth coach Manon Rhéaume. Over six rounds, Detroit added one goaltender, one defender, and four forwards despite not having a first-round pick.
