Byram's a solid young defenseman with upside, but Buffalo's in a tough spot if they're already looking to move him after investing a top-5 pick. Depends on what they're asking for and whether another team thinks they can unlock more of his potential than Adams has.
His xGA/60 is actually pretty decent for a young guy on a bad team, so I'm curious what the real issue is in Buffalo.
Of course the Sabres are already bailing on their draft picks, what a surprise. This organization couldn't develop a player if they had a roadmap.
If Buffalo's selling low on Byram, some team is gonna get a steal here. A young LHD with that ceiling for maybe a mid-tier prospect and a pick? That's the kind of move a contender should be making.
