Michal Postava, an undrafted Czech goaltender, had a strong first season with the Grand Rapids Griffins, posting a 17-6-0 record with a 1.71 goals-against average and .937 save percentage in 33 regular season games, along with four shutouts. Sebastian Cossa, a 2021 first-round prospect, appears to be leaving the Red Wings organization with interest from Edmonton and Utah. Postava is expected to serve as the backup to John Gibson for the Red Wings next season.
