Hilary Knight will play for the PWHL’s expansion team in Detroit as part of a sign-and-trade: Source - The Athletic

Hilary Knight will join the PWHL's Detroit expansion team via a sign-and-trade in which Las Vegas will sign her to a one-year contract and trade her to Detroit in exchange for Detroit's first-round pick in the upcoming draft. The trade becomes official on June 16 when the PWHL's trade freeze lifts. Knight's contract guarantees her no less than her 2025-26 salary of $106,090.
