2026 NHL Draft Schedule and Detroit's Plan of Attack

I've got to say, I'm a bit surprised by the news that we're going to be focusing on finding a center later in the draft. Reminds me of those days when Scotty Young would go get his defensemen in the second round and they'd be gems for years to come. Kid's got some growing to do, but I like our young forwards now and think we can make this thing work out just fine if we bring in a solid center who knows how to play both ends of the rink.
