Edvinsson's RFA Price Tag Set to Skyrocket
DetroitTom1h ago
The numbers are starting to come in for Simon Edvinsson's restricted free agency negotiation, and it's clear that the Swedish defenseman is in line for a major payday. Per Hockey News Insider, Edvinsson's camp is projected to be looking at deals worth north of $8.5M AAV, which would vault him above Dylan Larkin as the team's highest-paid player. The Wings do have cap space available - roughly $31M per CapFriendly - but securing a deal for this price point could strain the budget.
